Elysian Feilds

Jennifer Charles and Oren Bloedow are the writers who make up the critically-acclaimed band that formed in New York in 1995 and went on to develop a cult following of faithful fans around the world. They started on a major label but would soon be working outside of the mainstream, early on recording with Steve Albini and then going on to produce themselves for a number of independent labels over the years, including Jet Set, PIAS, and Naive — most recently recording for Vicious Circle and Microcultures in France and Ojet/Diluvian in the US.

Fika (pron. 'fee-ka') is an exploration of my Swedish heritage and the links group members have with Scandinavian. It is the recording I always wanted to do but only felt able to achieve at this point in my life.

Elysian Fields is a progressive rock band formed and led by Mark Jeffry Dye in 1973. In 1978 the band moved to Los Angeles amd changed their name to Impulse and they released five albums on the Electric Fantasy label. While living in Los Angeles Mark became a Midi and synthesis specialist for many top artists like Van Halen, Guiffria, Gino Vannelli, and even appeared on Entertainment Tonight as a technical adviser for electronic music. He now operates a state of the art digital recording facility in Saint Petersburg, Florida. He is now retired but continues to pursue projects that he hasn't had time for over the last 40 years. The Elysian Fields releases should be considered as part of the overall M J D discography and vice versa.

Elysian Encounter is Baker Gurvitz Army's second studio album. Formed By Former Gun And Three Man Army Members Adrian Gurvitz (Guitar, Vocals), Paul Gurvitz (Bass, Vocals) And Virtuoso Drummer Ginger Baker (former CREAM), The Baker Gurvitz Army Recorded Three Of The Finest British Rock Music Of The Mid-1970s. The Recording Of "Elysian Encounter" Saw The Band Expanded With The Addition Of Vocalist Mr. Snips (Steve Parsons) And Keyboard Player Peter Lemer. Arguably The Band'S Finest Work, The Album Featured Such Classic Material As "People", "Time", "The Artist" And "The Key".
