Forever Everlasting is the debut album recording by Caucasian rapper Everlast, who was part of Ice-T's Rhyme Syndicate. The album featured three minor hit singles, including "Never Missin' A Beat", "The Rhythm" (which features Ice-T, Donald D and Diva), and the great "I Got The Knack". This was his only album released through Warner Bros. Records before he formed House Of Pain. He wouldn't release anymore solo material until 1998, when he met with great success with "What It's Like".

White Trash Beautiful is Everlast's third LP since he exited the House of Pain and took up the reigns of conscience-driven, streetwise roots rap. It's been a long time coming. In music biz terms, 2000's critically acclaimed Eat at Whitey's was a dud next to Whitey Ford Sings the Blues' multi-platinum success. That and the wacko record label commingling of the early 2000s found Everlast label-less and lonely. A survivor, he started recording in his home studio and gravitated to the dusky country of outlaws like Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings. Those sounds inform White Trash in spirit, if not necessarily in direct practice.

The Life Acoustic is the newest album by House of Pain front-man Everlast. The songs on the album are from previous Everlast records that were largely ignored, re-done in an acoustic, stripped-down setting. There's even an acoustic version of "Jump Around", House of Pain's most famous 1992 hit.

Boxing With God is the 2001 album by El Vez, a singer who is not an Elvis Presley impersonator but an "Elvis Interpretor". He offers a Mexican twist to the legacy of Elvis while adding a few other songs of interest, sometimes music by Lee Dorsey, other times by Iggy Pop. El Vez may be better known as Robert Lopez, one time member of the Los Angeles punk band The Zeros. Sympathy For The Record Industry made this one a reality,
