Une comédienne fan de chanson et un musicien accro au cinéma : la rencontre entre Françoise Fabian et Léonard Lasry était inévitable. Six ans après le succès de son premier album éponyme (à l’âge de 85 ans !), l’héroïne de Ma Nuit chez Maud d’Éric Rohmer reprend le chemin des studios pour une série de chansons composées par Lasry, donc, et écrites par Élisa Point. Depuis quelques années, Point et Lasry se sont « spécialisés » dans les albums d’actrices mythiques, leurs deux principaux trophées étant Charlotte Rampling et Fanny Ardant. La couleur latino et trépidante de la chanson d’ouverture, Tant que je n'y pense pas, est une manière de souligner la vitalité intacte d’une Françoise Fabian désormais nonagénaire.

Lara Fabian's 1996 album Pure, was a two million-selling album ,which reached Diamond status in France, from which came the anti-homophobia anthem "La Différence." The album went platinum in less than two weeks. Lara again was bestowed with awards, being awarded a Félix for Popular Album Of The Year at the 1997 ADISQ gala and was also nominated for two Juno awards in the Best Female Singer and Best Selling French Album categories.

The album features the hit singles "Adagio", "I Will Love Again", "I Am Who I Am" and "Love by Grace". The Japanese edition changes around the track order, cuts the Italian version of "Adagio," and adds two bonus tracks: "Light of My Life" and "Otro Amor Vendra (I Will Love Again)".

Fabian Lance is no newcomer to the music industry and the two songs included here prove that beyond a doubt.
