Double Dutchess is the upcoming second studio album, also a visual album, by American singer-songwriter Fergie. It is set to be released on September 22, 2017. The album will be Fergie's first to be released on her own imprint, Dutchess Music, in a partnership with BMG Rights Management, and first since her debut, The Dutchess (2006). Promotion for the album began with the release of the album's first single "L.A. Love (La La)" in September 2014. "M.I.L.F. $" was released as the second single from the album in July 2016, followed by the release of "Life Goes On" in November that same year. Double Dutchess was made available for pre-order from August 25, 2017. The album includes collaborations with YG, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, and Fergie's son Axl Jack.

The Californian singer’s second album finds her teeming with ambition: opener Hungry is all sassy delivery and theatrical production that prove Fergie an unstoppable force of hip-hop-infused pop. It’s a strong start, though what follows is surreal – be it alluding to Pharoahe Monch (encouraging ladies to “rub your boobies”) or the jarring juxtaposition of hyperactive single MILF$ leading into a power ballad. But with sumptuous, old-school beats, plus guest spots from Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj and Fergie’s toddler son, Double Dutchess is fun and gloriously confident, cementing Fergie’s place in pop royalty.
