Highly attractive recording debut album of gifted Italian sisters Natascia and Raffaella Gazzana in a programme of 20th and 21st century pieces for violin and piano. Between 1975 and 1983, Jordi Savall recorded five albums including the most beautiful pieces from each of the five ‘Books of Pieces for the Viol’ composed by Marin Marais between 1686 and 1725. All twelve songs of each album were carefully transfered with the finest Decca Royal Sound and are finally re-released for the first time on the "Original Album Series" with a special price by now.
