Frankenstein Created Woman Soundtrack

Filmtrax will release a soundtrack album for the sci-fi thriller Anon. The album features the film’s original music composed by Christophe Beck (Ant-Man, Frozen, Edge of Tomorrow, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Hangover, The Muppets). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 18 and will be available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Anon is written and directed by Andrew Niccol and stars Clive Owen, Amanda Seyfried, Colm Feore and Sony Walger. The movie is set in a future where technology has rendered privacy obsolete and follows a detective who investigates a serial assassin who has been deleted from all visual records. The thriller was released earlier this month in the U.S. and most other markets on Netflix and in the UK in select theaters and on Sky.

In composing the music for With Peter Bradley, a brilliant new documentary on the abstract painter directed by Alex Rappoport, saxophonist Javon Jackson is also painting a series of pictures. The original music from the documentary, released on his own Solid Jackson Records, is like a full exhibit, an extended play expression of the lightheartedness and verve of the enigmatic Peter Bradley.

As a songwriter and artist, entertainment icon Dolly Parton has contributed some of the most memorable original songs to films for both the big and small screen. Now, for the soundtrack to the forthcoming Netflix film Dumplin’, Parton teams with a dazzling array of female artists including Miranda Lambert, Rhonda Vincent, Alison Krauss, pop superstar Sia and soul legend Mavis Staples, as well as Elle King, Willa Amai, and Macy Gray featuring Dorothy. Produced by songwriter Linda Perry, with whom Parton co-wrote six of the LP’s dozen tracks, the album also features cameos from the film’s stars Danielle Macdonald — who plays the title character — and Jennifer Aniston.
