Dabei zeigen sich verschiedene Typen von schriftstellerischer Selbstinszenierung, deren Kontur sich wesentlich aus ihrer bellizistischen Stoßrichtung ergibt, wie etwa „Dichter am ‚Feldrand‘“, „Dichter im Feld“ oder „Dichter im Staatsdienst“. Historisch triftig sind diese Typen aber nicht nur in Sicht auf ihre eigene Zeit, sondern sie lassen darüber hinaus eine „Strukturlogik“ von Dichtung in Zeiten des Krieges erkennen.
