Cut & Stitch - Album Introduction by Ren Aldridge. "Cut & Stitch is a patchwork of different sounds, ideas and feelings. It's the most experimental record we've made so far, both musically and lyrically. Cutting and stitching is a process that can go on indefinitely - stitches are easily unpicked, new shapes can be cut, everything can be rearranged. We cut our patches off of old clothes and sew them onto something else. Continuity is an idea that underpins the record, from 'the sound does not arrive' to 'we're not finished, we never fucking will be.' This follows on from the sentiment of our last EP, 'The Future is Dark.' Political change is a slow, complicated process that's often only partly visible with hindsight.

Literally, you have failed to even enter into their consciousness as a being worthy of recognition. Without skipping a beat the girl you addressed turns her back to you and keeps talking to her friend, leaving you standing there with your dick in your hand. The girls won’t even LOOK at you… EVEN IF YOU’RE DOING EVERYTHING RIGHT.

Certified Lover Boy is the sixth studio album by Canadian rapper Drake. It was released on September 3, 2021, through OVO Sound and Republic Records. The album was initially set to be released in January 2021, but was delayed. It features guest appearances by Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Giveon, Jay-Z, Travis Scott, Future, Young Thug, Yebba, 21 Savage, Project Pat, Tems, Ty Dolla Sign, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross and Kid Cudi. Thematically, Drake explained that Certified Lover Boy is "a combination of toxic masculinity and acceptance of truth which is inevitably heartbreaking".

Although they might not be the first '90s band to come to mind, it's hard to overstate Garbage's long-lasting influence on "pop" music—you can hear the industrial yet accessible dance-floor rhythms in the songs of Lady Gaga, while Billie Eilish's darker twists and turns echo those of singer Shirley Manson.
