Gone Is Gone is an American rock group formed in 2016. The band consists of Troy Sanders, the singer and bass player from Mastodon, Troy Van Leeuwen, one of the guitarists for Queens of the Stone Age, Tony Hajjar, the drummer for At the Drive-In, and Mike Zarin, a multi-instrumentalist, composer and founder of Sencit Music who appeared with Van Leeuwen on Sweethead's Descent to the Surface. An eponymous EP was released on July 8, 2016, and the band released their debut album Echolocation on January 6, 2017.

Revered for decades as one of the Kings of Memphis Rockabilly for the scintillating records he made for Sam Phillips' legendary Sun imprint, the late Warren Smith was always a country boy at heart. After the rock 'n' roll boom was over he cut some of the best hardcore country shuffles of the early 60s. It was R 'n' R that built Warren's reputation, but honky tonkin' country that gave him his hits and made him a frequent visitor to the Billboard Country Charts between 1960 and 1964.

Guests include Bill Nelson, Robert Fripp, & Mel Collins. If there was only one album that I could take to a deserted island, "Gone to Earth" would be it. In my opinion, this piece of atmospheric pop-chique is the best Sylvian ever did. So when the remaster was released, I went and got it right away.
