‘Cracker Island’ is the eight studio album from Gorillaz, an energetic, upbeat,genre-expansive collection of 10 tracks featuring yet another stellar line-up of artist collaborators: Thundercat, Tame Impala, Bad Bunny, Stevie Nicks, Adeleye Omotayo, Bootie Brown and Beck. Recorded in London and LA earlier this year, it is produced by Gorillaz, Remi Kabaka jr. and eight-time Grammy Award-winning producer / multi-instrumentalist / songwriter extraordinaire Greg Kurstin. Title track ‘Cracker Island’ kickstarted the new campaign this Summer hitting the charts across the globe with a top 10 video racking up 10M views in 10 days. The virtual band exploded onto TikTok gaining over 2.1 m followers in the space of a few months where they continue to innovate, taking virtual characters where no character has been before.

"G Sides" is a B-sides collection by Gorillaz from their first studio album session, "Gorillaz" and the "Tomorrow Comes Today" EP. The compilation was originally released only in Japan in December 2001. The US edition, with a slightly different track listing, followed in February 2002. The European version, released in March 2002, features the original Japanese track listing. G Sides reached number 65 on the UK Albums Chart and number 84 on the US Billboard 200.

Song Machine, Season One: Strange Timez is the upcoming seventh studio album by British virtual band Gorillaz, set to be released on 23 October 2020. The album is released as part of the Gorillaz Song Machine project, a web series consisting of a collection of singles and music videos, dubbed "episodes" each featuring different guest artists. It has incorporated a wide range of genres, thus far including punk rock, bossa nova, synth-pop, electronic, and downtempo. The album marked the return of the character Murdoc Niccals in promotional material, after his absence from The Now Now in 2018.

Plastic Beach received mostly positive reviews, and was named one of the year's best albums by several critics.
