Книги о холодном оружии и броне. Как я понимаю, писались они в помощь разработчикам игр, чтобы они не слишком отрывались от действительности и представляли себе параметры того или иного оружия. :)

The fourth step in our Renaldo re-issue programme and this time we have a very special item for you: Title In Limbo is an album that was recorded with The Residents in San Francisco in 1981.The bands played a very experimental jam session together and went back to these recordings 2 years later, in 1983. Title In Limbo finally came out in November of that year on vinyl. 1998 saw the first complete CD release as a numbered limited edition on Ralph America, copies of which are scarce and now collectors’ items. But that CD differed from the vinyl in that some tracks had short fade ups applied to them which did not truly reflect the original release. So we are excited for the first time on CD to now offer this album re-mastered with all tracks fully restored to their originally recorded states. Also included is a booklet with rare photographs and of course the lyrics for all the songs. In this case, all Klanggalerie can say to you is: Buy or die.

Swedish vocalist Vivian Buczek has been on the Scandinavian jazz scene for over a decade, releasing her first album, Can't We Be Friends (Skandia Music) in 2003. Live At The Palladium is her fourth solo album, though she's also recorded with the Artistry Jazz Group. The Palladium in question isn't the world- renowned London theatre, it's the one in Buczek's home town of Malmö, but this concert sparkles with such energy and vivacity that it could readily have graced the venue's more famous British counterpart.

"Live At The London Palladium" was a surprise hit in 1977, selling two million copies in the US and becoming one of the top ten best-selling albums of the year. Recorded over the course of several shows in London in October 1976, this set captures Marvin Gaye at a crossroads both personally and in his career. He reportedly agreed to tour Europe to make a fresh start, distance himself from his problems and make some quick money to pay off debts. None of the troubled artist is apparent in Gaye's performances as he soulfully covers material from his entire career up to that point. Of special note are three lengthy, intimate medleys of early hits. The only studio recording on this album is the side-long disco song "Got to Give It Up" which was tacked onto the original double vinyl to capitalize on the growing disco craze of the mid 1970s. An edited single version of this song reached number one on the Billboard singles chart.

New York Palladium is the 1990 bootleg CD by British heavy metal band Iron Maiden. Taken from a show in 1982, when Bruce Dickenson joined the band, this was for The Number Of The Beast tour. This was released on Golden Stars.

With a multi-octave voice similar to Betty Carter's, incredible scatting ability, and ease of transition from a throaty whisper to high-pitched trills, Cleo Laine was born in 1927 in the Southall section of London, the daughter of a Jamaican father and English mother. Her parents sent her to vocal and dance lessons as a teenager, but she was 25 when she first sang professionally, after a successful audition with the big band led by Johnny Dankworth. Both Laine and the band recorded for Esquire, MGM and Pye during the late '50s, and by 1958, she was married to Dankworth. With Dankworth by her side, Laine began her solo career in earnest with a 1964 album of Shakespeare lyrics set to Dankworth's arrangements, Shakespeare: And All That Jazz.
