Salvatore, Knight Adamo, known commonly as Adamo, is a musician and singer known for his romantic ballads. Adamo was born in Italy and his family's ancestry is Italian, but he grew up from a very early age in Belgium and has made that country his homeland. He first gained popularity throughout Europe and later in the Middle East, Latin America, Japan, and the United States. He has sold more than 80 million albums and 20 million singles making him one of the most commercially successful musicians in the world. He mainly performs in French but has also sung in English, German, Italian, Spanish and Turkish. "Tombe la neige", "La nuit", and "Inch'Allah" remain his best known songs. He is currently the best selling Belgian musician of all time.

The music of French folk troubadour Hugues Aufray existed in stark opposition to the prevailing yé-yé sound that dominated pop charts in the mid-'60s. A disciple of Bob Dylan who regularly adapted his hero's songs into French, Aufray nevertheless proved a popular favorite whose own compositions, most notably "Santiano" and "Celine," quickly entered the mainstream vernacular.

Trois ans après "Aznavour 2000", voilà le nouvel album du grand Charles et on ne peut que saluer (encore une fois) le génie d'Aznavour en tant qu'auteur-compositeur-interprète. Il s'est encore une fois entouré d'Yvan Cassar qui avait réalisé le précédent opus et les arragements sont encore une fois à la hauteur des chansons. "Lisboa" est un magnifique et nostalgique fado; "Je n'entends rien" peut nous rappeler le cirque et la fête foraine; "Etre quelqu'un de différent" swingue sur les droits à la différence.

Durant l'été 2010, Vanessa Paradis a proposé une série de 20 concerts acoustiques en France : véritable évènement ! Pour la première fois, ses plus grandes chansons, de « Joe le taxi » à « Divine Idylle », étaient revisitées avec 8 musiciens acoustiques dont un quatuor à cordes. Vanessa Paradis et Barclay ont donc décidé d'enregistrer et filmer l'un des 2 concerts donnés à l'Opéra Royal du Château de Versailles, les 11 et 12 juillet. Ce concert représente une autre façon de dire que les chansons de Vanessa nous sont devenues familières.
