The Grateful Dead‘s September 8, 1973 concert at Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York will be featured on Dave’s Picks Volume 38, which is due in the second quarter of 2021. Dave’s Picks 2021 subscribers will receive a bonus disc containing highlights from the previous night’s show at the same venue.
Beyond Description (1973-1989) is a companion set to 2001's 12-disc box The Golden Road (1965-1973), which collected all of the Grateful Dead's albums for Warner Bros, adding bonus tracks to each album, along with a double-disc collection of early pre-Warner recordings called "Birth of the Dead" for good measure…
The next installment of the Grateful Dead’s Dave’s Picks series of live archival releases is the first to pull from the band’s mid ’80s period. Dave’s Picks Volume 27 features the Grateful Dead’s September 2, 1983 performance at the Boise State University Pavilion in Boise, Idaho and is due on July 27.
Grateful Dead archivist David Lemieux selected the band’s concert on January 2, 1970 at the Fillmore East in New York City for Dave’s Picks Volume 30. The latest volume is one of four installments in the Dave’s Picks archival series slated for release in 2019.
