The band self released their debut album "Element V" in 2003. "Element V" proves to be a journey of far reaching proportions as Voyager take the listener along with them for a trip through futuristic metal that is starkly dynamic and oftentimes quite powerful. VOYAGER concentrates on structured compositions, melody, virtuosity, and atmosphere. They were approved by the Prog Metal Team and are highly recommended.

In early 2006, Voyager entered Sovereign studios to record "uniVers", with Boeijen and Dow as firm members of the band. Voyager shot a video clip to the radio edit version of the song "Sober" and released this as a limited edition single in 2006. … Throughout the entire album, those infectious melodies never cease, and they're carried predominantly by the guitar. There's a plethora of thrilling riffs in every damn song.

Progressive metal is overflowing with Dream Theater and Symphony X wannabes. Even the actual bands are stuck in a rut of similar sounding songs and stale albums. The genre is slowly dying out. If the giants of the genre are withering, why are Voyager, a relatively unknown group from the most isolated city on Earth, flourishing? Because they are not only Progressive Metal, they are so much more. Bands like Voyager are proof that Aussie musicians can match it with those from other countries, and I Am the reVolution speaks volumes for that.

Crystal Voyager is a soundtrack album by G. Wayne Thomas to the 1972 surfing film. The soundtrack album was released a year later on the Warm & Genuine label. The compact disc was released in Japan via King Records on 26 November, 2004.

Progressive rock bands stumbled into the '80s, some with the crutch of commercial concessions under one arm, which makes the Moody Blues' elegant entrance via Long Distance Voyager all the more impressive. Ironically enough, this was also the only album that the group ever got to record at their custom-designed Threshold Studio, given to them by Decca Records head Sir Edward Lewis in the early '70s and built to their specifications, but completed while they were on hiatus and never used by the band until Long Distance Voyager (the preceding album, Octave, having been recorded in California to accommodate Mike Pinder), before it was destroyed in the wake of Decca's sale to Polygram…
