The Norwegian Soloists Choir and Grete Pedersen have made acclaimed recordings of music spanning a millennium from chants by Hildegard of Bingen (1098 1179) to the most recent compositions and in styles ranging from folk songs to Bach motets and Berios Coro.

Hans Richter-Haaser (6 January 1912 – 13 December 1980) was a noted German classical pianist, who was known for his interpretations of Beethoven, Schubert and Schumann. He was also a teacher, a conductor, and a composer.

The soundtrack for “Kung Fu Panda” features several prominent Chinese musicians, including piano solos by Lang Lang (on tracks 1, 12, 13), Jim Wang (Cello), Wu Man (Pipa), Guo Gan (Erhu/Zhonghu/Gaohu) and Cynthia Hsiang (Guzheng). Moreover, the British boyband The Vamps performs the legendary Kung Fu Fighting song.

Grammy nominee Junkie XL showed equal excitement at the pairing, saying, “Hans has an incredible legacy, and I was extremely thrilled when he approached me to work on ‘Batman v Superman’ with him.”
