Though the works of Russian composer Rachmaninoff are often appreciated for their ardent passion and overflow of emotions, pianist Cho Jae-hyuck aims to examine a more reserved, thought-out side of the Romantic composer’s works with his latest recording of his piano concerto pieces.

The album features uniquely crafted versions of the main themes from Denis Villeneuve’s Dune curated by the film’s composer Hans Zimmer (The Dark Knight, Gladiator, Inception, The Lion King, Interstellar, Pirates of the Caribbean, Man of Steel) to accompany the reader on their journey through the book, which was written by the movie’s executive producer Tanya Lapointe.

Prehistoric Planet is a British-American five-part nature documentary streaming television series about dinosaurs that premiered on Apple TV+ beginning May 23, 2022Hans Zimmer, Kara Talve and Anže Rozman composed the soundtrack. It is the first major dinosaur-focused documentary series produced by the BBC since Planet Dinosaur in 2011, and the third overall (the first was Walking with Dinosaurs in 1999).

Hans Zimmer returned to compose the film's score after doing so for the previous film. Zimmer had composed over 90 minutes of music prior to the announcement of the film to help give Villeneuve inspiration when writing. Two singles were released on February 15, 2024, by WaterTower Music, titled "A Time of Quiet Between the Storms" and "Harvester Attack".

Kung Fu Panda 4 is a 2024 American animated martial arts comedy film produced by DreamWorks Animation and distributed by Universal Pictures. Hans Zimmer returns as composer — alongside series newcomer Steve Mazzaro — and the fiery percussive score lends the proceedings a mythic grandeur.

Comprised of extended, immersive musical explorations of the “Dune” film score. Of significant note is that this album will be released in both Standard and Dolby Atmos Music configurations, and marks Zimmer’s first soundtrack released in Dolby Atmos Music – a listening technology he has wholeheartedly embraced for the music of “Dune.”

The two Swedes Jan Lundgren and Hans Backenroth are musical storytellers, their playing is without any vanity and full of vivid stories. Qualities that Lundgren has already demonstrated with his own projects, the pan-European success trio "Mare Nostrum" and in duos with trombonist and singer Nils Landgren and bass icon Georg Riedel. Especially the latter finds a worthy continuation in the collaboration with Backenroth, an internationally sought-after European bassist.

Cellist Yang Sung-won released his ninth album "Echo of Romance" produced by classical label DECCA on the 29th May. According to Universal Music, the album includes the Schumann Cello Concerto, Clara Schumann's three romances Op.22 and Brahms' clarinet trio in a minor Op.114th place was included. A Universal Music official said, "These are works that allow you to read the intense artistic collaboration between Schumann, Clara Schumann, and Brahms."

The Recording Academy has announced the 2024 nominees for the Grammy awards in 91 categories. In the category New Age/Ambient/Chant Hans Christian’s latest CD release Ocean Dreaming Ocean (CurveBlue Records) was nominated for a Grammy, along with four other nominees, out of over 175 entries. The 66th annual Grammy Awards will take place February 4th, 2024 where the winner will be announced.

In 1987 the Renner Ensemble Regensburg was formed under Bernd Englbrecht, which took its name from the Regensburg cathedral organist and composer Josef Renner jun. (1868 -1934) named. Almost all members of the ensemble received their musical training from the Regensburger Domspatzen.
