Giovanni Mirabassi released a new album called The Swan And The Storm with a new quartet composed by Lukmil Perez on drums, Clément Daldosso on double bass and a special guest: Guillaume Perret on saxophone.

It’s been nearly two years since Daughter has released its acclaimed sophomore album, Not to Disappear. While a proper follow-up has yet to be announced, the Londoners have actually been diligently working on a new project, helming music for the upcoming episodic video game Life is Strange: Before the Storm.

The Storm Sessions is the latest glowing proof that Elkhorn are one of the most durable and adventurous platforms of the new guitar age. Snowed in with their friend Turner Williams (Ramble Tamble, Guardian Alien) on the night of an emotionally important gig, the duo-plus-one turned it into a cathartic blizzard-bound collaboration and rumination — and a new step for Elkhorn.

The aptly titled AFTER THE STORM finds Crosby Stills & Nash looking back at an indescribably stormy career, collectively and individually. As ever, the magic of the band on STORM is the chemistry between the disparate voices that these three very different, very powerful artists bring to bear. Never ones to rest on their laurels or give in to marketing trends, the work they produce here is classic CSN-rich and honest, with nothing up their collective sleeve. Though teamwork is more than apparent on AFTER THE STORM (the slow, acoustic groove and trademark harmonies of "Find A Dream"), the members' individual sounds shine distinctly throughout– Graham Nash delivers a slow, haunting title track, while Stills indulges his Latin muse on the tight, complex "Panama," and Crosby mixes in his own brand of blues on "Streets to Lean On."
