Though known by some for his producing, programming, and writing work in the pop and electronic realms, Henry Jackman is best known as a film composer for action and animated features such as X-Men: First Class, Big Hero 6, and Captain America: Civil War. He was born in Hillingdon of suburban London, England into a family of industry professionals, including his father Andrew Pryce Jackman, a keyboardist and arranger who's worked with the likes of Yes, Barbra Streisand, and Nanci Griffith. His uncle Gregg Jackman is a sound engineer and producer for artists such as Barclay James Harvest, Seal, and Enya, and his grandfather Bill Jackman played woodwinds for, among others, the King's Singers.

Extraction 2 is a 2023 American action thriller film directed by Sam Hargrave and written by Joe Russo, based on the graphic novel Ciudad by Ande Parks, Joe Russo, Anthony Russo, Fernando León González, and Eric Skillman. The full details of the soundtrack album for the Netflix original film The Gray Man have been revealed. The Gray Man is directed by Anthony & Joe Russo and stars Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Regé-Jean Page, Dhanush, Jessica Henwick, Julia Butters, Wagner Moura, Alfre Woodard and Billy Bob Thornton. The action thriller follows a shadowy CIA agent who – after he uncovers damning agency secrets – gets hunted across the globe by a sociopathic rogue operative who’s put a bounty on his head. Often cited as one of the greatest composers in the history of film, the won four Academy Awards, a Golden Globe, and twenty Grammy Awards, plus a posthumous Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 1995.
