In this book, research is carried out on nano-doping effects on the performance and future development of polypropylene nano-composites. Also, the characteristics of CF3I gas and its combination with nitrogen by experimental results are investigated. The book also discusses the effect of harmonic resonance on the insulation.

High-voltage engineering is a crucial part of our modern society, from the different components in the power grid to the copy machines around us. Recently, different challenges have emerged in high-voltage engineering that need special attention from researchers. In this Special Issue, we received 35 articles where 18 were accepted and 17 were rejected. The accepted articles discussed different topics and issues related to high-voltage engineering.

The proceedings of the conference presents the state of the art technology of the field. The content is simultaneously aiming to help practicing engineers to be able to implement based on the papers and researchers to link and further develop ideas.

This book conveys the theoretical and experimental basics of a well-founded measurement technique in the areas of high DC, AC and surge voltages as well as the corresponding high currents. Additional chapters explain the acquisition of partial discharges and the electrical measured variables. Equipment exposed to very high voltages and currents is used for the transmission and distribution of electrical energy.

Electro-mobility is considered as a key technology to achieve green mobility and fulfil tomorrow's emission standards, however, challenges still need to be faced to achieve comparable performances to conventional vehicles and finally obtain market acceptance. Two of these challenges are vehicle range and production costs. The aim of the INCOBAT project (October 2013 - December 2016) was to provide innovative and cost efficient battery management systems for next generation HV-batteries.
