Michele Baresi were founded in 1986 as the "first, last and only" East German ska band, named after an Italian mafioso. This, their first release, was recorded during the turmoil of the German reunification, produced by Saba Habas Mustapha, alias Colin Bass, of Camel and 3 Mustaphas 3 fame. He lived in Berlin and was a moderator of Berlin's Radio Multikulti in that period.
