Like many composers of his time, Friedrich Theodor Fröhlich (born on February 20, 1803) displayed signs of musical talent from a young age. After a short-lived pursuit of studying law in Basel in 1822 and the year thereafter in Berlin, Fröhlich devoted himself to his musical studies. In Berlin, he received instruction from the music pedagogues, Karl Friedrich Zelter, Bernhard Klein and Ludwig Berger.

Peter Heider released two albums after more than 30 years as a musician, producer and composer. In the first part - "Hell_Moll" - created by analog modular synthesizers, and Live instruments/musicians, herbaceous rhythms and soundscapes, with a PH typical "handwriting" for space and extreme depth.

Internationally acclaimed recitalist Kimberly Marshall performs a musical celebration of Notre Dame (Paris) on the largest mean-tone organ in the world, the North German Baroque organ in Gothenburg, Sweden. Schola Gothia, the renowned women's choir, joins her in music honoring the Virgin Mary.

Beethoven lived in a time when the popularity of the guitar was vastly growing, especially in Vienna. Guitar teachers like the Bohemian Wenzel Matiegka were highly paid for their services to the Austrian nobility, while the internationally renowned masters of the instrument flooded the Viennese market with new editions of their own works and arrangements. The Neapolitan Ferdinando Carulli, living in Paris, and Mauro Giuliani from Apulia, living in Beethoven’s Viennese neighbourhood, were the most prominent figures in that scene. For the present recording Volker Hoh Volker Höh combined two Beethoven arrangements by Carulli and Matiegka with Beethoven’s own mandolin pieces, played on historical Viennese guitars. Parts of the repertoire are world première recordings.

CSN is an official 4CD box set by David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash, commonly known as the trio Crosby, Stills & Nash. Released in 1991, it focuses on CSN as a group and sometimes Y (Neil Young) plus some of their solo material, Stills' Manassas project and the Crosby/Nash collaborations. This was released by Atlantic.

Studio Archives 1969 is a Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young bootleg CD released in the 1990's or so, consisting of material recorded during 1969, either for CSN&Y's album or solo albums to come. All tracks are soundboard quality.

Joni Mitchell's ongoing Archives series has been an overwhelming success and the third volume somehow manages to outdo its predecessors.
