Hyper Lorie Karaoke

Lorie grew up in Reno, Nevada and was born with "perfect pitch." She has been playing the piano since age 5 and as a child prodigy, she won many annual Statewide piano competitions. Classically trained, she graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a BA in Music, Piano Performance.

Persuadée de faire carrière, Lorie chante depuis qu'elle est toute petite. Après avoir enregistré quelques titres, elle trouve un producteur avec lequel elle fait le tour des maisons de disques. En 2002, elle sort son premier single, Près de moi, puis son album Près de toi et Tendrement, en 2002. Après avoir enchaîné les tournées, elle sort son premier album live, Lorie Live Tour, en 2003, Attitudes, le live Weekend Tour, en 2004, et l’année suivante, son premier best of, ainsi que l’album Rester la même. En 2007, 2Lor en moi annonce un revirement à 180 degrés avec un tout nouveau style pop-dance et électro, produit notamment par Terry Ronald (Kylie Minogue).

Now and Then features some of Lorie’s most popular music of today, including two songs from the most recent Broadway musical, Wicked (“I’m Not That Girl” and “For Good”) and music from Little Women (“Here Alone”). This CD also features a few contemporary songs from popular bands, including Coldplay’s “Clocks” and Five For Fighting’s “100 Years.” One of the most requested songs, “You Raise Me Up”, made popular by Josh Grobin, is also a highlight.

The Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 will take place in the Liverpool Arena next to the River Mersey on Saturday 13 May with Semi-Finals on Tuesday 9 and Thursday 11 May.
