After being shot while calling for help trying to stop a violent attack on his high school girl, a 16 year old boy awakens from a coma to discover that fragments of his smart phone have embedded in his brain, giving him superhero powers. He uses this knowledge and technology to exact revenge on the gang responsible for the attack.

Max Aruj & Steffen Thum have composed the original music for the upcoming horror thriller Crawl. Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, The LEGO Batman Movie, Home) serves as the score producer of the film written and directed by Alexandre Aja (The Hills Have Eyes, High Tension, Piranha 3D) and starring Kaya Scodelario and Barry Pepper. The movie follows a young woman who becomes trapped in a flooding house during a Category 5 hurricane and must battle against Florida’s most savage and feared predators. Michael & Shawn Rasmussen (The Ward) wrote the screenplay. Aja is also producing the Ghost House Pictures production with Craig Flores (300) and Sam Raimi (Spider-Man, Evil Dead). Aruj’s & Thum’s previous scoring credits include the features iBoy and Warning Shot. They also contributed additional music to various projects scored by Balfe over the last few years. Crawl will be released in theaters nationwide on July 12 by Paramount Pictures.

Lorne Balfe (born 23 February 1976) is a Scottish music producer and composer for film, television, and video games. He is best known for composing music for films such as Terminator Genisys, iBoy, and 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, DreamWorks animated films Home and Penguins of Madagascar, video games Assassin's Creed: Revelations and Crysis 2, and the Skylanders franchise. He has a studio at Hans Zimmer's company Remote Control Productions, and has collaborated with him on multiple projects. He sometimes composes under the pseudonym "Oswin Mackintosh".
