Abigail is a 2024 American vampire horror film directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett from a screenplay written by Stephen Shields and Guy Busick. Based on and a reimagining of the 1936 Universal Classic Monsters film Dracula's Daughter.Brian Tyler composed the film's score; he collaborated with Bettinelli-Olpin and Gillett on prior projects.

In his 26-year career, Tyler has scored seven installments of the Fast & Furious franchise, Rambo, Eagle Eye, The Expendables trilogy, Iron Man 3, Now You See Me, Avengers: Age of Ultron with Danny Elfman, Crazy Rich Asians and The Super Mario Bros. Movie among others.

Varese Sarabande has released a soundtrack album for Stephanie Soechtig’s documentary The Devil We Know. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Brian Tyler (Iron Man 3, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Fast & Furious, Crazy Rich Asians, Now You See Me) who previously scored Soechtig’s Under the Gun. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. The Devil We Know centers on one of the biggest environmental scandals of our time, as a group of citizens in West Virginia take on a powerful corporation after they discover it has knowingly been dumping a toxic chemical into the local drinking water supply. The documentary premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and is now available on VOD.

Henry Jackman is currently scoring the upcoming sci-fi action horror thriller The Predator. The film is directed by Shane Black (Iron Man 3, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, The Nice Guys) and stars Boyd Holbrook, Olivia Munn, Trevante Rhodes, Keegan-Michael Key, Sterling K. Brown, Jacob Tremblay, Yvonne Strahovski, Alfie Allen and Thomas Jane. The movie is a reboot of the franchise that launched in 1987 and centers on a group of military veterans encountering a Predator ship in a suburban neighborhood. Black also co-wrote the screenplay with Fred Dekker (The Monster Squad). John Davis (I, Robot, The Firm, Waterworld), Joel Silver (The Matrix, Lethal Weapon) & Lawrence Gordon (Die Hard, Field of Dreams) are producing the project. Alan Silvestri composed the music for the original two Predator movies, while John Debney scored 2010’s Predators. The Predator will be released in theaters nationwide on September 14, 2018 by 20th Century Fox.

Cliff Martinez (Drive, Traffic, Solaris, Contagion) has recently composed the music for the upcoming thriller Hotel Artemis. The film is written and directed by Drew Pearce (Iron Man 3, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation) and stars Jodie Foster, Sterling K. Brown, Sofia Boutella, Jeff Goldblum, Brian Tyree Henry, Jenny Slate, Zachary Quinto, Charlie Day and Dave Bautista. The movie revolves around a nurse who runs a secret, members-only emergency room for criminals in a near-future Los Angeles that’s torn by riots. Marc Platt (La La Land, Bridge of Spies) and Adam Siegel (Drive, 2 Guns) are producing the project with Ink Factory’s Simon & Stephen Cornwell (A Most Wanted Man, The Night Manager). Hotel Artemis is expected to be released later this year or in early 2019 by Global Road Entertainment.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Mix Vol. 1 (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is the soundtrack album for the Marvel Studios film of the same name. Featuring the songs present on Peter Quill's mixtape in the film, the album was released by Hollywood Records on July 29, 2014. A separate film score album, Guardians of the Galaxy (Original Score), composed by Tyler Bates, was also released by Hollywood Records on the same date, along with a deluxe version featuring both albums. The soundtrack album reached number one on the US Billboard 200 chart, becoming the first soundtrack album in history consisting entirely of previously released songs to top the chart. The album topped the Billboard Top Soundtracks for 11 consecutive weeks and 16 weeks in total. As of January 2015, it has sold 1,003,000 copies in the United States, and has been certified Platinum by the RIAA. The album was the US's second best-selling soundtrack album of 2014, behind only the soundtrack to Frozen.

The film is directed by Justin Baldoni and stars Haley Lu Richardson, Cole Sprouse, Moises Arias, Kimberly Hebert Gregory, Parminder Nagra and Claire Forlani. The movie follows two young people who meet and fall in love while being treated for their illnesses, knowing that they are both living on borrowed time. Mikki Daughtry & Tobias Iaconis (The Curse of La Llorona) wrote the screenplay. Baldoni is also producing the project with Cathy Schulman (Crash, The Illusionist, The Foreigner). Five Feet Apart will be released on March 22, 2019 by CBS Films/Lionsgate.

He wanted to elevate the survival drama in which journalist Kate Winslet and doctor Idris Elba find themselves trapped 11,000 feet on a snow-covered mountain. His early scores for films like Bartender and Six String Samurai helped him land his first big break with the 2001 Bill Paxton-directed thriller Frailty.
