Lakeshore Records will release the official soundtrack album for the drama Brave the Dark.

Alon crashed with Carey while working on new music, of which an overarching theme will be limerence: the state of intense romantic longing for someone who often does not reciprocate. Those who have experienced limerence will know it can lead to obsessive thoughts – an infatuation that overlooks any flaws or, indeed, turns those flaws into an attractive trait.

Throughout the last 10 years danish guitarplayer Jacob Gurevitsch has been devolping his own musical signature with the spanish guitar.
His door into music is a deep passion, a flair for romantic interpretation and a very well developed melodic understanding. His influences are many and with great diversity – a drop of Argentina, old italian movies and early morning forestwalk in Spain.

Jacob was born on 18 September 1971 in Barcelona, Spain. He was brought up in a poor family that lived in the El Raval neighborhood.

After two decades of musical partnership, Sinne Eeg and Jacob Christoffersen present SHIKIORI — their first duo album, recorded live in an intimate and atmospheric 150-year-old Japanese house-turned-concert-venue. The present release is a collection of chamber works for viola by Gordon Jacob, composed between 1946 and 1975. Violist Jadwiga Stanek writes: “From the very beginning of my artistic activity, I have been particularly fond of promoting the viola and have been performing chamber music in various instrumental ensembles. Gordon Jacob’s output shows my passion for performing various genres of that music in a special way. I appreciate the selected compositions of Jacob for the universal character of the viola part, since its different faces, elements of virtuosity, and warm timbre have an impact on the versatile artistic value of the interpreted pieces.”
