Traces Of Love is a sampler CD found in the February 2002 issue of Jazziz. It was released to coincide with Valentine's Day but is perfect for any romantic time of the year.

The Ed. compilation CD was one made by the jazz magazine Jazziz to highlight artists in the educational system known as college. specfically throughout the United States. This was the 6th volume taken from the October 2006 issue of Jazziz.

Standards Old & New Vol. 1 (Vocals) is a compilation CD released in 2004. It was a sampler that was found in the December 2004 issue of Jazziz magazine.

Ed. 5 is the fifth volume in Jazziz magazine's annual series of sampler discs dedicated to artists from universities and colleges across the United States. Many deep highlights here.

Luis Muñoz is a composer, producer, arranger and percussionist from Costa Rica. He has released nine CDs of his compositions as a leader, all of them receiving multiple accolades and awards from the world media. His 2015 CD “VOZ”, a project with singers Claudia Acuña (Chile), Magos Herrera (México) and Téka (Brazil) was chosen by Downbeat Magazine among the “Best CDs of the Year” and by Jazziz Magazine among the “12 Best Albums of the Year”. Latin Jazz Network called it “A perfect Album” (5 Stars). It won two ACAM Awards (Association of Composers and Musical Authors) in Latin America, including “Jazz CD of the Year”. Mr. Muñoz’s has received 6 ACAM nominations and 4 awards so far. Mr. Muñoz was chosen among the “12 Best Artists of the Year” by NPR’s AltLatino. His latest recording, “The Dead Man” (2017) was named “Best Record of the Year” in Jazziz Magazine.

Celebrating the life and resilience of his 88-year-old mother, composer Dr. Anthony Branker’s 10th Origin release is a gift to Joan Branker who has been mightily challenged by the ongoing cognitive decline of dementia. Conceptualized after witnessing how her face would brighten and her body would start to move when listening to his earlier music, he was driven to re-imagine 11 of these compositions, along with “If,” written by his daughter at 11, for his brilliant ensemble, Imagine. Saxophonist Donny McCaslin, trumpeter Philip Dizack, pianist Fabian Almazan, bassist Linda May Han Oh, drummer Rudy Royston, guitarist Pete McCann, and vocalist Aubrey Johnson, each bring inspired musicianship and deep soul to the lyrical flow, ingenious rhythmic interplay, and spirited performances that have come to define Branker’s projects. “Songs My Mom Liked” is yet another engrossing project and celebration of life, from the mind and pen of Anthony Branker.

In 1992, a trip to California led to his signing with the prestigious Concord label and established him as the first major new voice on the harmonica since Toots Thielemans.
