Following their acclaimed debut release on Resonus Classics (The Waiting Sky, 2019), the award-winning vocal ensemble SANSARA presents an album of choral works and electronic refractions by their Associate Composer, Marco Galvani.

Now almost 15 years into her New York City life, South Korean pianist and composer Jihee Heo has thrived during her deep journey into the city's towering jazz piano legacy. Her studies in Amsterdam and at the Manhattan School of Music blended experimental jazz with classical and bop, but the rich connection she discovered with drummer Joe Farnsworth and bassist Alex Claffy several years ago awakened sounds she's had stored away since she first encountered jazz.

Inner peace and how to find it have occupied the world’s great religions and schools of philosophy for millennia. Traces, a revelatory sequence of unaccompanied choral works past and present, creates a solemn space in which to contemplate and perhaps find solutions to the problem. Tasha Thomas was an American singer-songwriter and actress. "Midnight Rendezvous" was released in 1979, and spun off two more disco hits in “Hot Buttered Boogie” and “Street Fever“. Unfortunately, Thomas’ health took a turn for the worse; she was diagnosed with cancer and spent much of the early ’80s battling the disease.
