Journey Frontiers

Time3 (also known as Time Cubed) is a 1992 three-CD box set by the American rock band Journey. The tracks are arranged chronologically and include both studio and live tracks. A booklet documenting the band's history and song details is included. With the box set can be heard the progression of the band from the early days with heavy influences from Gregg Rolie, Aynsley Dunbar, and Neal Schon (1974–1977), to the changes the band made with the addition of Jonathan Cain and Steve Perry (1978–1983), to the differences of the band after 1983, including Neal's Jazz influences and the album Raised on Radio. The box also features several unreleased Journey songs, alternate versions or even demos such as "Velvet Curtain", the very early (incomplete) version of "Feeling That Way" before Perry rebuilt the whole song structure.

Journey will release their first album in more than a decade this summer. Freedom arrives on July 8. "During the pandemic, there wasn’t much to do,” guitarist Neal Schon said in a press release. “I spent a lot of time in my little studio at home, learning how to play keyboards and looping. Some of those ideas ended up being songs. So it kind of came out of nowhere.”
In February, Schon shared an Instagram post containing the band's signature scarab logo, the Freedom title and the 15-song track listing with the caption, "Teaser … it’s coming and it’s loaded."

Journey is an American rock band that formed in San Francisco in 1973, composed of former members of Santana and Frumious Bandersnatch. The band has gone through several phases; its strongest commercial success occurred between 1978 and 1987 when Steve Perry was lead vocalist. During that period, the band released a series of hit songs, including "Don't Stop Believin'" (1981), which in 2009 became the top-selling track in iTunes history among songs not released in the 21st century. Its parent studio album, Escape, the band's seventh and most successful, reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and yielded another of their most popular singles, "Open Arms". Its 1983 follow-up album, Frontiers, was almost as successful in the United States, reaching No. 2 and spawning several successful singles; it broadened the band's appeal in the United Kingdom, where it reached No. 6 on the UK Albums Chart. Journey enjoyed a successful reunion in the mid-1990s and have since regrouped twice; first with Steve Augeri from 1998-2006, then with Arnel Pineda from 2007 to the present.

“A Journey Through Genetics Part II” is designed to continue on the incredible journey initiated in Part I to explore the exciting discoveries in genetics and molecular biology. In Part I, the reader embarked on a genetic odyssey that started with the “Father of Genetics,” Gregor Mendel, and culminated in the invention of one of the most powerful tools in molecular biology—the polymerase chain reaction. The second part of the book will take the reader on a journey to explore the frontiers of genetic diversity, gene cloning, the human journey, and the human genome project! The book is targeted toward undergraduate non-majors and also as a “companion” to a standard genetics textbook for biology majors. The book will also prove to be useful for anyone that wants to understand the stories behind the science of genetics.

Promotional EP featuring four tracks. "Only the Young" is a song written by Jonathan Cain, Steve Perry and Neal Schon of the band Journey. Previously intended for Journey's 1983 album Frontiers, it was pulled from the album within days of recording in favor of songs "Back Talk" and "Troubled Child". It was then sold to the band Scandal, who released it in 1984 on their album Warrior, as the first commercially released version of the song. Journey's version was included on the soundtrack to the 1985 film Vision Quest, and was also released as a single which reached the top 10 of the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.

Deluxe CD + DVD edition, an audio/video release of Journey's incredible Lollapalooza performance from Chicago, IL on July 31, 2021. The stunning set serves as a testament not only to the band's enduring legacy, but their relevance to a whole new generation of rock 'n roll fans.
