Live At Pompeii is the project from David Gilmour, and follows his critically acclaimed studio album Rattle That Lock from September of 2015. Live at Pompeii is available in multiple formats: a 2 CD live album, a standard DVD and Blu-Ray concert film, a Deluxe Boxset including the 2 CD live album and 1 Blu-Ray of the entire live concert and bonus content, and a special 4 LP Vinyl package. 45 years after Pink Floyd's David Gilmour filmed 'Live At Pompeii' in the legendary Roman Amphitheatre there, he returned for two spectacular shows in July 2016, part of the year-long tour in support of his No. 1 album Rattle That Lock.

For the first time, and thanks to new archaeological excavations, this documentary reveals how Pompeii, the pride of its builders, developed, from its origins at the end of the seventh century BC until the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD. The use of CGI and 3D mapping provides a very clear view of this ancient superstructure and eight centuries of urban evolution. We will revive this great historical fresco through accounts by international archaeologists and historians. Pompeii: The Origins is a journey to the heart of an ancient ‘motion designed’ city.
