Iconic Gamilaraay artist Thelma Plum announces her highly awaited sophomore album I’m Sorry, Now Say It Back and shares the third taste with new single “Freckles”, following recent releases “Nobody’s Baby” and “We Don’t Talk About It”.

Jerry Williams’—aka Swamp Dogg—first love was country music, listening to it as a Navy family kid growing up in Portsmouth, Virginia. “My granddaddy, he just bought country records out the asshole,” Swamp remembers. “Every Friday when he came home from the Navy yard he’d stop off and get his records, like ‘Mule Train’ by Frankie Laine, or ‘Riders in the Sky’ by Vaughn Monroe.” His first time performing on stage, in fact, was a country song at a talent show when he was six years old: “I did Red Foley’s version of ‘Peace in the Valley.’”

This compilation is a tribute to one of Chicago's greatest punk bands, The Methadones. A collection of artists (like DeeCRACKS, Manges, The Parasites) pay tribute to an unsung voice of our generation…

An accomplished writer and musician, Aidan Baker has his artistic fingers in many pies. After graduating from Montreal's McGill University with a degree in Literature and Religious Studies, Baker released a four-song acoustic cassette as "Aodhan" (the Gaelic spelling of his name). He also teamed up with two fellow Toronto musicians to create ARC, an ambient guitar-driven trio which garnered much praise for its innovation and integrity. The group released three albums, including Two in 2001.

Heavily influenced by The Ramones and many of today's Pop Punk artists, The Sheckies were in the forefront of the "Pogo Punk" movement. The Band formed in February 2004, and their songs noted for their simplicity, brevity, high energy and fun lyrics. An absolute champion stuff!

24 December 1965, Manchester, Lancashire, England. A skilled trumpeter, Brown studied at London’s Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Although centred in jazz, his influences and his repertoire display his awareness of many forms of music: classical, pop, contemporary dance, reggae, soul. Among artists and groups with whom he has worked, including in some instances making international tours, are Prince Buster, Desmond Dekker, Maxi Priest, Push, trombonist Rico Rodriguez and Paul Weller. At times, Brown’s playing suggests that he is essentially rooted in the hard bop tradition. He plays with a warmth and fluidity that allows him to find considerable variations from the norm, therefore making his work worthy of careful attention.
