Sing Out! features a stellar line-up of acoustic performances by Bay Area folk heroes, including Jerry Garcia and Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead, Country Joe McDonald, Kate Wolf, Rosalie Sorrels, and a percussion set by the Dead’s drummers – billed as the Rhythm Devils. The event was described by Wavy Gravy as a “mini-Woodstock,” and it is the last major show to be mixed and recorded by famed Grateful Dead soundman Owsley Stanley, aka “Bear.” It is also the final live recording he made of any members of the Grateful Dead.

Bear's Sonic Journals: Sing Out! is a three-CD live album of acoustic music by various artists. It features performances by Jerry Garcia & Bob Weir, Country Joe McDonald, Kate Wolf, Rosalie Sorrels, and the Rhythm Devils. It was recorded at the Berkeley Community Theater in Berkeley, California on April 25, 1981. The album includes a 50-page booklet of essays and photos. It is scheduled to be released on February 23, 2024.

2015 finds Mt. Wolf unmistakeably revitalised, re-focused, and ripe for success once more after a turbulent time following the departure of singer Kate Sproule.

Kate Shugak is a native Aleut working as a private investigator in Alaska. She's 5'1" tall, carrires a scar that runs from ear to ear across her throat, and owns a half-wolf, half-husky dog named Mutt. Resourceful, strong-willed, defiant, Kate is tougher than your average heroine—and she needs to be, to survive the worst the Alaskan wilds can throw at her. And throw their worst the wilds have: Kate and Mutt have both been shot.
