Welsh roots reggae band Skindred signed a contract with Napalm Records, to release new album titled 'Kill The Power', which will be released simultaneously in the UK and continental Europe via Double Cross / Cooking Vinyl and Napalm , respectively, while in North America disc will be issued February 18 by Red River Entertainment, whose products are distributed concern Sony / RED.Frontman Benji Webb recently said : "We are more than happy that release a new bomb ! »Kill The Power» for all those who are tired of being weak , and I want to go ahead and destroy all those who presses and holds you down ! Use this album as background to overcome all its obstacles ! ".The CD was recorded at The Chairworks in Leeds with producer James «LeRock» Loughrey (Page & Plant, Flux Pavilion), who had previously worked with the band on 2011 album 'Union Black'.

Stars Kill Rock is a collection of largely unreleased material from one of the '90s pre-eminent American indie labels, Kill Rock Stars, operated by Bikini Kill's Tobi Vail. While there are a few clinkers, most of the material is top-shelf; the music generally leans toward punk, and in keeping with the label's riot-grrrl aesthetic, most of the artists involved are female. Among the highlights are contributions from the cuddle-core quartet Tiger Trap, the British sexual terrorists Huggy Bear, and Boston folkie Mary Lou Lord.

METALLICA today announced that they will reissue their first two albums, 1983's "Kill 'Em All" and 1984's "Ride The Lightning", on April 15. Both albums have been remastered for the most advanced sound quality and will be available in three formats — CD, vinyl, and deluxe box set. On Kill 'Em All, Metallica fuses the intricate riffing of New Wave of British Heavy Metal bands like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, and Diamond Head with the velocity of Motörhead and hardcore punk.
