Here is the latest record from Klaus Schulze, who died on April 26, 2022 at the age of 74. A special disc in his vast discography (more than 50 albums) because it is the album composed immediately after the soundtrack of Dune version 2021. The ex-drummer of Tangerine Dream had released in 1979 an album entitled Dune, which was to accompany an adaptation project (aborted) by Alejandro Jodorowsky of Frank Herbert's novel. It is Toto (+ a title by the Eno brothers) who will inherit the soundtrack of the Lynch film in 1984. Three decades later, the announcement of Denis Villeneuve's remake plunges Schulze back into the books, of which he is a big fan – to the point of having titled one of his songs Frank Herbert on the 1978 album X. Hans Zimmer then had the excellent idea of calling him to offer him to collaborate on the soundtrack of the film and thus close the loop.
