Knight's Tale

Arms and armour is a tremendously evocative subject, conjuring up images in the mind of great crusades, gallant heroes and medieval battles. Our imaginations are lit up by the subject and we continue to be fascinated by it after centuries. The idea of a bygone age of derring-do and adventure appeals to our romantic stories we have heard of gallant knights, courageous in battle, overcoming evil.

In the 15th century the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth is facing a hard struggle against the neighboring Teutonic Order.Frequent clashes between the two powers finally culminate in 1410 with the Battle of Grunwald.

Knights of the Chalice is known as the party-based fantasy CRPG. At the beginning of the game, you create a party of four adventurers. The characters can be Human, Half-Elf or Mul and the available classes are Fighter, Wizard and Cleric. The party starts the game in the Tower of the Knights of the Chalice, an organisation similar to the Knights Templar. They are given a mission: to look for a missing knight. As the party progresses through the game, it unfolds a tale of slavery and tyranny. The characters must confront mighty sorcerers, heartless slavers, hideous trolls, boastful giants and scheming dragons.

The Knights Templar have been shrouded in myth for 900 years. Christian Crusaders condemned by the lies and disloyalty of their one-time allies, the Templars are inseparable from the legends of the Holy Grail and the Shroud of Turin. Now, a surprising manuscript unearthed in the Vatican shows that the Templars were liquidated at the hands of a weak pope in a 14th century tale of corporate greed.
