The violinist and composer Pieter Van Maldere was once the most famous musicians in the Low Countries and can be considered among the most important creators of the classical symphony. He uses lively and original melodic language, idiomatic to the violin.

Stockholm Marathon sees the Swedish-Hungarian producer, who was born in the Swedish capital, "reflecting a lot on this beautiful, boring city I never quite manage to move away from," he says, after moving back in September of 2018. Kovács credits his "dearest Stockholm people" for making the album his most collaborative and most personal release. That list includes jazz musician Niclas Skagstedt, Matt Karmil, Rebecca & Fiona, and Malin Gabriella Nordin, who did the artwork. The album is his second full-length, following 2016's The Bells, also released on Studio Barnhus.

Hungarian director Kornel Mundruczo (Johanna) helmed this bucolic incest-themed drama. The picture reflects on man's need to re-bond with his natural habitat, and meditates on the unseemly consequences of fraternal love that drifts into unacceptable territory. Felix Lajko stars as the unnamed protagonist, who hearkens back to his family's agrarian home after years away. Unkempt, unshaven and noticeably laconic, he makes contact with his sister (Orsi Toth of Johanna), his mother (Lili Monori) and his mother's recent husband, a brutish sociopath (Sandor Gaspar) - who uniformly toil away in a decrepit local pub.
