Founded by soprano Marina Rebeka and sound engineer Edgardo Vertanessian, Prima Classic is an independent record label focused on opera, lyrical singing, and instrumental music, fueled by a passion to produce and nurture beautiful music performed by outstanding artists.

GUITARP DUO has impressed and enchanted the press and audiences alike with their conceptually designed concerts during the last twenty years. Its newest program, Miroirs d’Espagne, weaves together mysterious Andalusian melodies, sensual habaneras and vivacious flamenco rhythms all in one. Homenaje, Manuel de Falla’s masterpiece for the guitar which is dedicated to Claude Debussy, has inspired this program.

Duo Giardini, made up of violinist Luiz Amato and cellist Adriana Holtz, presents the album GALANTE, dedicated to the compositions of the renowned Italian Felice Giardini, one of the greatest representatives of the galante style.

Yuletide is the mid-winter period from Hannuka, through Christmas, to the celebration of Twelfth Night. From the late 1950s through the 1970s it was seemingly obligatory for all artists from Jazz to Punk to make a Christmas album.

With their enthusiasm and contagious energy, they are the French piano duo currently making their mark on French and international stages. Since 2011, Naïri Badal and Adélaïde Panaget have formed the Duo Jatekok, Hungarian for “game”. An idea that will become their signature. Following in the footsteps of their critically acclaimed albums Danses, The Boys and Carnaval, each concert offers a musical cocktail that reflects their dynamism and expressiveness.

It started by chance. In January 2000, in the incomparable musical hive that is the Cité des Congrès in Nantes every year for La folle journée, an anthology of German spiritual arias from the 17th century was being played in front of an astonished audience.

The reign of Elizabeth I (1558–1603) and her successor James I (1603–1625) saw a golden age of English lute music. This enchanting compilation of the album „Consort of two“ by the Icelandic harpist and singer Sólveig Thoroddsen Jónsdóttir and the Costa Rican lutenist Sergio Coto Blanco dates from this period. Aside from solo literature, the repertoire here presented includes lute duos – a combination that gained great popularity in the 16th century. Here the works are played with lute and triple harp. This is based on the long tradition of harps and lutes playing together, as shown in images as early as the 15th century. Particularly noteworthy are the four works in the genre of consort songs (lute, harp and voice), which have a special charm thanks to the clear voice of Sólveig Thoroddsen Jónsdóttir – well worth listening to!
