Legacy Recordings will celebrate the 80th birthday of Kris Kristofferson with the June 10 release of The Complete Monument & Columbia Album Collection, a 16-CD deluxe box set.

Space Jam: A New Legacy is a 2021 American live-action/animated sports comedy film directed by Malcolm D. Lee, serving as a standalone sequel to Space Jam (1996). It is the first theatrically-released film to feature the Looney Tunes characters since Looney Tunes: Back in Action (2003), and is also a combination of live-action, traditional hand-drawn animation, and 3D CGI effects.

Kristopher Bowers (born 1989) is an American composer and pianist who has composed scores for films, video games, television and documentaries including, Green Book, Madden NFL, Dear White People, and Kobe Bryant's Muse. He has recorded, performed, and collaborated with the likes of Jay-Z, Kanye West, and José James. He won the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Piano Competition in 2011 and a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Music Direction and Composition in 2017 for The Snowy Day. Bowers worked on the score of Ava DuVernay's Netflix mini-series When They See Us.

A celebrated singer, songwriter and actor, Kris Kristofferson emerged after a period of struggle as one of the major artists of the 1970s, eventually translating that acclaim into a fruitful career in Hollywood. His songs "Me and Bobby McGee," "Help Me Make It Through the Night," "Sunday Mornin' Comin' Down," and "For the Good Times," all chart-topping hits, redefined the sound of country music, making it more personal and serious — hallmarks of the outlaw country movement he helped create.

Kris Bowers is scoring the upcoming drama Green Book. The film is directed by Peter Farrelly (There’s Something About Mary, Dumb and Dumber, Me, Myself & Irene) and stars Viggo Mortensen, Mahershala Ali and Linda Cardellini. The movie is set in 1962 and tells the true story of the growing friendship between Tony Lip, a nightclub bouncer who’s been hired to chauffeur the highly-educated African-American piano-playing prodigy Dr. Don Shirley through the Deep South on a concert tour. Farrelly also co-wrote the screenplay with Nick Vallelonga and Brian Currie. They are also producing the Participant Media production with Jim Burke (The Descendants, Walking Tall) and Charles Wessler (Shallow Hal). Green Book is currently in post-production and is expected to premiere later this year.

Kristoffer "Kris" Kristofferson is an American country music singer, songwriter, musician, and film actor. He is known for such hits as "Me and Bobby McGee", "For the Good Times", "Sunday Mornin' Comin' Down", and "Help Me Make It Through the Night". Kristofferson is the sole writer of most of his songs, and he has collaborated with various other figures of the Nashville scene such as Shel Silverstein. In 1985, Kristofferson joined fellow country artists Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash in forming the country music supergroup "The Highwaymen". In 2004, Kristofferson was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. It is mighty, mighty hard to believe, but this famed duets album–which went to #1 on the country charts and #26 on the pop charts and garnered a Gold Record–has never been issued on CD outside of Japan, and even there only in the late '90s on a limited run. This was a love album par excellence, as the two stars had just gotten married weeks prior to the record's release in 1973; interestingly, though Kris Kristofferson, fresh from recording his country chart-topper "Why Me," was the bigger star at the time, Full Moon really played to Rita Coolidge's strengths, as it was produced by her long-time producer David Anderle and set its songs in a higher key more suited to her dreamy vocals. The album scored a huge hit with Kristofferson's "A Song I'd Like to Sing," and followed that up with a smash version of Tom Jans' "Loving Arms;" the duo's rendition of Kristofferson's "From the Bottle to the Bottom" also won a Grammy for Best Country Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group.
