With 4 plugins based on nearly impossible-to-find Italian-made hardware from the 1950s through the 1980s, Blond takes you on a fascinating sonic journey through the Bel Paese of yesteryear.

One of France and Europe's most distinguished film composers, Vladimir Cosma scored more than 150 films and TV productions. Although he enjoyed almost immediate success in comedies, he continued to experiment with different styles and genres, and this versatility brought him wide international acclaim.

This is a 2-in-1 double soundtrack bu Vladimir Cosma for the French films directed by Yves Robert, Le Grand Blond Avec Une Chaussure Noire (1972) and its sequel, Le Retour Du Grand Blond (1984). This was originally compiled in 1992 but this is a 2001 remaster released by Pomme Music/Sony Music France.

Achim Reichels großer Wurf: "Blues in Blond" und der Super-Hit "Der Spieler". Nachdem Achim Reichel schon zuvor für "Ungeschminkt" (1980) mit einigen "Jungen Wilden" der deutschen Schriftstellergarde Songtexte geschrieben hatte, intensivierte er für "Blues in Blond" (1981) die Zusammenarbeit mit Jörg Fauser. In der Vorbereitungszeit setzten sich die beiden oft zusammen, entweder bei Fauser in Berlin oder bei Reichel am Großensee bei Hamburg, und legten gemeinsam Themen fest, zu denen Fauser dann die Texte verfasste. Die aus dem Album ausgekoppelte Single "Der Spieler" erwies sich als Super-Hit, brachte eine Einladung in die ZDF-Hitparade und erlangte Goldstatus.
