Paradise Highway is a 2022 thriller film written and directed by Anna Gutto and starring Juliette Binoche, Frank Grillo, and Morgan Freeman. An international co-production between the United States, Germany, and Switzerland, the film was released in the United States on July 29, 2022, by Lionsgate.

Thomas Albertus Irnberger, violin, and Pavel Kašpar, piano, lead us with this album into the bourgeois salon of the late 19th century – an oasis amid the "good old days" which weren’t, of course, that good to begin with: mired turmoil, social inequalities, and wars as much and more than ever since. The invited audience were to listen to Hungarian dances by Brahms, Kodály or Rachmaninoff, Csárdás’ by Franz Lehár, Miska Hauser or Jeno Hubay, Romances, Fantasies and other melodies by Tchaikovsky, Leopold Auer, Carl Bohm or Joseph Joachim. Some songs from operettas by Lehár, Jeno Huszka, Emmerich Kálmán and Pongrác Kacsóh with the Hungarian soprano Brigitta Simon complete this musical visit to the "Salon de Budapest"

Hannes De Maeyer is one of Belgium’s most versatile composers, best known for his collaboration with director duo Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah (Gangsta, Black) and his score to the recent ITV primetime drama Professor T, starring Ben Miller. His work ranges from contemporary electronic scores with pop and hip hop influences, to rich, orchestral and symphonic works.

Esposito was then quickly invited to all the major opera houses of France, including the Paris Opéra-Comique, singing the standard French light lyric repertory: Olympia in Les contes d'Hoffmann, Philline in Mignon, Mireille, Micaela in Carmen, Leila in Les pêcheurs de perles, Lakmé. She made her debut at the Paris Opéra in 1959, as Violetta in La traviata. Other roles there included, Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia, the title role in Lucia di Lammermoor, Gilda in Rigoletto, Xenia in Boris Godunov, Marguerite in Faust, Juliette in Roméo et Juliette, as well as Massenet's Manon and Thais.She was also a very active recitalist, especially of French songs by Chausson and Duparc. She participated in the creation of many contemporary works, such as Le chevalier de neige by Delerue, Andrea del Sarto by Daniel-Lesur, The Mines of Sulphur by Bennett, and The Devils of Loudun by Penderecki.She also enjoyed singing in operettas, such as Die Fledermaus, and The Merry Widow.Esposito was married to French baritone Julien Haas, with whom she often appeared on stage, the two were also active as voice teachers at the Strasbourg Music Conservatory.

Throughout its history, the Philadelphia based contemporary chamber choir The Crossing, led by conductor Donald Nally, has championed works that address social, political, and environmental issues. So it is consistent with the group’s history and mission that their latest release, Carols After a Plague, takes a broad view of our collective experience of the recent pandemic era, inviting twelve composers to look inward and engage with some of myriad ways in which the last few years have forced all of us to confront difficult realities and gain strength from solidarity with one another.
