Avondale certainly does not disappoint! It is a highly addictive read and if you manage it put it down, you're looking forward to picking it back up again. If you liked the five kingdoms books you will without a doubt enjoy this series. Magic, intrigue, loyalty, adventure and friendship are qualities that are prevalent throughout the story. This first book definitely sets up many plot points and I cannot wait to see what direction Toby takes the characters.
