Lulu & The Luvvers Scotland's very own "Little Miss Dynamite" burst onto the music scene in 1964 with "Shout" a song that featured both Jimmy Page and Jim Sullivan.Both Sullivan and Page worked on early Decca sessions with Page also playing on "Forget Me Baby", her version of Them's "I'll Come Running" and the Jagger/Richard's song "Surprise Surprise".When she moved to work with Mickie Most it was John Paul Jones' turn to work with her on hits such as "To Sir With Love" and her great version of Tim Rose's "Morning Dew".

Three years ago, Lulu Gainsbourg launched his career with a wonderful gift for his father who passed away twenty years before. The musician imagined a stunning album of covers, on which he brought together Vanessa Paradis, Iggy Pop, Scarlett Johansson, Marianne Faithfull, Johnny Depp and Rufus Wainwright among others. Entitled From Gainsbourg to Lulu, this album was a prerequisite step before he could take off as a solo artist. “At first, it was important for me to pay tribute to my father’s work. I also wanted his songs to be known in other countries. But to remain the son who indefinitely revisits my dad’s repertoire was out of question. I did not want to go on tour with that record, I was already thinking about my own personal project.”

Manquant d'assurance au cours d'un entretien d'embauche, Lulu, mariée et mère de trois enfants, n'obtient pas le poste de secrétaire espéré. Dans un moment d'égarement et sans aucune préméditation, elle décide de ne pas rentrer chez elle et fuit dans une ville balnéaire de Vendée à la recherche d'un peu de liberté. Sur la côte, la fugueuse et timide quadragénaire est confrontée au manque d'argent et se met à la recherche d'un toit…
