'Looking into You', the first ever tribute album honoring Jackson Browne, features 23 hits and deep album cuts alike from the songwriter's catalogue. So many respected musicians wanted in - from Ben Harper, Don Henley with Blind Pilot and Lyle Lovett to Keb' Mo', Bonnie Raitt, Bruce Springsteen & Patti Scialfa, and Lucinda Williams - that it had to be a double-disc set to fit them all on. Pontiac is Lyle Lovett's finest album, but it still contains the strengths and weaknesses that have become Lyle's hallmarks. Crack playing, keen observations and clever lyrics, and a neo-traditionalist aesthetic that pulls in everything from Texas folk, honky-tonk and Western swing to old-school pop all shine brightly here, but they're consistently dulled by an ironic distance and a bitterness toward women that approaches misogyny. On Pontiac, the strengths generally win out, however, as Lovett convincingly stalks an old lover ("L.A. County"), says "take my wife, please" ("She's No Lady"), and, on the title track, offers a character sketch that could've been penned by Raymond Carver.

The album features the film’s original music composed by Ben Lovett (The Signal, Black Rock, Don Peyote, Synchronicity). The soundtrack will be released digitally on February 9, 2018 and i now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Ritual is directed by David Bruckner and stars Rafe Spall, Arsher Ali, Robert James-Collier and Sam Troughton. The movie follows four men who are subjected to a night of terror when they unwisely take refuge in a derelict house as they venture into the wilderness of the Swedish highlands to perform a remembrance for a dearly departed friend. The thriller premiered at last year’s Toronto Film Festival and was released in British theaters in October. The film will premiere in the U.S. and other markets exclusively on Netflix on February 9.

Poco distante da Nell, infatti, è stata uccisa Sophie Crows, la proprietaria della villa. It is difficult to briefly describe what I have experienced since devoting myself last March to working on the new album that was recorded entirely in parallel with the Corona plague. The first few minutes I sat in front of the computer screen in my small studio in Istanbul, I did not really know how to approach it during this shaky period. Some time after the production of the first piece, Heal, I felt that maybe I could write more music and complete an entire album.
