Raised on the roads and in the footsteps of her parents musicians Yuri Popoff, Lena Horta and her uncle the legendary Toninho Horta, Diana Horta Popoff is a singer, pianist, flutist and composer. His music is born between Rio, Belo Horizonte and Europe and reveals a pianist with sophisticated chords, a flutist with a soft and warm sound and a typically Brazilian sweet voice.

Diana Horta Popoff is brazilian, the daughter of flutist Lena Horta and bassist and composer Yuri Popoff, and the niece of worldwide known guitarist and composer Toninho Horta. Diana started out playing the flute at age 9, and got the national prize from the Rio conservatory in 2003. At 23, she became a flute teacher at the Brazilian conservatory of music and at the Baden Powell school of music in Rio. As she was studying the flute, Diana was also getting interested in piano, composition and singing. She recorded her first album, "Algum Lugar", on Brazilian label Delira Musica in 2013. The album was produced by Marcio Lomiranda, who has worked with Milton Nascimiento and Ivan Lins, among others.
