Not just for fans of Desi Arnaz and/or Chico Marx, but for anyone who loves Big Band Music. Arnaz sings some Latin numbers but he and his band also do some straight Anglo performances that are interchangeable with anything Glen Miller and his band were doing. This CD has songs you can't get anywhere else. The sound quality for these radio broadcasts from December 20, 1942 (Chico Marx Band) and early 1946 is very clear. Chico gets to display his unique sense of humor before most of his numbers. We even get to hear a 17-year old Mel Torme sing "Abraham" (about Abe Lincoln).
