Magazine's three-disc box set is a mess. Breaking the group's history down to two eras spread across the first two-thirds of the box and adding a fantastic and well-needed third disc dedicated solely to Peel Sessions, it's yet another multi-disc package that half-pleases both fan and neophyte. Only four of the 45 tracks come directly from the band's four studio LPs. Oddly enough, seven-tenths of the decent live album Play is strewn across the first two discs.

Two years after part three in the trilogy that marked the albums Cobblestone Street, Museum and Nomad, Mike Tramp is back with a brand new album entitled Maybe Tomorrow. The album is without doubt one of the Danish singer/songwriters finest albums so far, and the nature of the music is deeply personal and rooted in himself. Mike Tramp explains: “When people ask me, why I have made a new album and what it’s about, I find myself dumbfounded or even lost for words. Cause to me, what I do is who I am. It might have taken me quite a while to reach this place where I feel so at home, and also where I belong. A place where my music is simply an extension of who I am. It might not sound that interesting or mysterious! But in what other way can I express that my songwriting and music is the truthful life of Mike Tramp.

A remastered version of the Manchester band’s LP released on May 19, include rare and unreleased recordings. The reissue is the first in the new Chasing The Sun series from Big Brother Recordings, with Oasis‘s follow-up albums ‘What’s The Story (Morning Glory)?’ and ‘Be Here Now’ to also be reissued later this year.
The 20th anniversary edition of ‘Definitely Maybe‘ will be available as a standard CD, a three-disc Special Edition version including the rare recordings and demos, a 12″ vinyl LP featuring all the bonus CD content as a free download, and a Deluxe Box Set which features the LP and the CDs. Among the bonus content included in the reissue is a disc featuring the band’s stand-alone single ‘Whatever’, unheard acoustic versions of the tracks ‘Live Forever’ and ‘Shakermaker’ recorded in Paris, an early demo of ‘Half The World Away’ recorded in Noel Gallagher’s Tokyo hotel room, a demo of the extremely rare song ‘Strange Thing’ and a live recording of ‘Sad Song’ show at Manchester Academy
