In the aftermath of the 2010 BP oil spill, an idealistic but flawed politician is forced to confront his dysfunctional life after his career is destroyed in a sex scandal.

The film opens with an Afghan-American writer Amir Qadiri (Khalid Abdalla) and his wife, Soraya (Atossa Leoni), who are watching children flying kites at a bayside park. When they arrive home, Amir finds waiting for him packages of his new novel, A Season for Ashes, which has just been published…

Thomas wakes up in an elevator, remembering nothing but his own name. He emerges into a world of about 60 teen boys who have learned to survive in a completely enclosed environment, subsisting on their own agriculture and supplies. A new boy arrives every 30 days. The original group has been in "The Glade" for three years, trying to find a way to escape through the Maze that surrounds their living space. They have begun to give up hope. Then a comatose girl arrives with a strange note, and their world begins to change. There are some great, fast-paced action scenes, particularly those involving the nightmarish Grievers who plague the boys.

With a new boy arriving every thirty days, the group has been in "The Glade" for three years, trying to find a way to escape through the Maze that surrounds their living space (patrolled by cyborg monsters named 'Grievers'). They have begun to give up hope when a comatose girl arrives with a strange note, and their world begins to change with the boys dividing into two factions: those willing to risk their lives to escape and those wanting to hang onto what they've got and survive.

This is an excellent series of core strength workouts specific to runners. Greg McMillan is highly respected as a coach and these are great set of progressive workouts for any runners out there.

Thomas (Dylan O’Brien) und seine Mitstreiter sind dem Labyrinth entkommen und stellen mit Schrecken fest, dass die Erde in Schutt und Asche liegt und durch starke Sonneneinstrahlungen verwüstet wurde. Zunächst werden die jungen Helden in einem Wohnheim untergebracht, wo sie fürs Erste in Sicherheit sind. Doch nach kurzer Zeit entdecken Thomas und seine Mitstreiter Leichen, die von der Decke hängen und darüber hinaus werden sie von den sogenannten „Cranks“ bedroht. Später finden sie heraus, dass ihre Mitstreiterin Teresa (Kaya Scodelario) verschwunden ist. Gemeinsam mit seinen Freunden Minho (Ki Hong Lee) und Newt (Thomas Brodie-Sangster) versucht Thomas die verschwundene Teresa zu finden, wobei sie zahlreichen Gefahren trotzen müssen und sich schließlich dem finsteren Janson (Aidan Gillen) stellen müssen.
