Mixed Games Ken lo

Ken Kurland writes classical, new age, jazz, world, pop, and theater. Ken has released 13 albums and one EP: Songs for Spring, Morning Begins, Lo La Day, Night, Songs for Autumn, Easy River, Yesterday's Dreams (EP), American Fantasy, Solitary Thoughts, More Than Heaven, Across The Threshold. Walking The Talk, Longing and Life Goes On. Ken was the composer for an Off-Off-Broadway musical ("Delilah") which starred Uzo Aduba, and was selected for an ASCAP Songwriters Showcase for the song "Shaded Blue." In 2015, Ken won an award for Best Score for the soundtrack for a short film, "Last Words," which included three songs from Easy River, one from Morning Begins, and one which later appeared on Walking The Talk.

Live……In The Moment is a double CD by drummer Ken Serio, who is joined in this performance with guitarists Vic Juris and Pete McCann and bassist Mark Egan. Recorded live in New Jersey in 2007 and released a few months later, this comes courtesy of Tripping Tree Music.

Hawaiian Tangos, Hulas & Blues is the 2004 album by guitarist Ken Emerson, with a little help from his friends, including Todd Rundgren. This was released on Hana Ola Records.

The Ken Peplowski quartet, consisting of Olel Kock Hansen, Hans Backenroth and Kristian Leth, perform eight jazz tunes including "Blue Bossa", "Love Is A Many Splendored Thing", and "What Are You Doing The Rest of Your Life".

While well known amongst serious jazz fans in the U.S., the talented Ken Peplowski had been relatively unknown in Japan, until Tetsuo Hara of Venus Records introduced him with the smash hit "Memories of You" in 2006. It received not only the Gold Disc recognition, but was also awarded the Best Engineered Album in 2006 by Swing Journal. Its audiophile credentials were further enhanced when Jazz Critique Magazine chose it as the Third Best Sounding Jazz Disc of 2006.
