The Grand Scheme of Things is a 1993 solo album by Yes guitarist Steve Howe. The album features seven vocal tracks and nine instrumental tracks using instruments including dobro, steel guitar, bass guitar, mandolin, keyboards, organ, spanish guitar and anvil. The album reached #15 in the Billboard Top New Age Albums charts.

The Great Book of John is led by Taylor Shaw - founding guitarist of Birmingham Alabama's Wild Sweet Orange. Shaw's music is eminently lyrical - recalling Jeff Buckley's psychedelic soul, Leonard Cohen's poetic (and lacerating) wordplay, and fiery fretwork influenced by Stevie Ray Vaughn and David Gilmour as much as it is by Radiohead. The Great Book of John is a deeply-layered production brimming with amplified crunch and a thick, somnambulant atmosphere provided by Remy Zero's Jeffery Cain and Grammy-winning engineer Darrell Thorp (Radiohead, Beck, Outkast).

Nosound is an Italian Progressive band which started in 2002. "The Northern Religion Of Things" is an album of radical re-interpretations of Nosound tracks. "The Northern Religion Of Things" was recorded during the rehearsal process for a unique one-off "Nosound solo" gig that Giancarlo performed in London in August 2010. For this intimate gig, Giancarlo created new arrangements for several classic Nosound tracks using a live setup that enabled him to play keyboards and/or acoustic guitar while also singing and recreating sounds and effects from the original studio albums. No backing tracks were used, only triggered loops and played instruments.
