Two CD collection from the 60s pop hitmakers. All the Singles collects the A and B sides of every original 1965-1970 Turtles 45, with the tracks presented in the same mono or stereo mixes that were heard on the original singles. All the Singles also features several tracks that were prepared for singles release but not issued at the time. Meticulously researched and prepared from the original master tapes by renowned engineer Bill Inglot. The resulting package offer a unique insight into one of rock's most misunderstood bands.

The original Chico Hamilton Quintet was one of the last significant West Coast jazz bands of the cool era. Consisting of Buddy Collette on reeds (flute, clarinet, alto, and tenor), guitarist Jim Hall, bassist Carson Smith, and the drummer/leader, the most distinctive element in the group's identity was cellist Fred Katz. The band could play quite softly, blending together elements of bop and classical music into their popular sound and occupying their own niche. This six-CD, limited-edition box set from 1997 starts off with a Hamilton drum solo from a 1954 performance with the Gerry Mulligan Quartet; it contains three full albums and many previously unreleased numbers) by the original Chico Hamilton band and also has quite a few titles from the second Hamilton group (which has Paul Horn and John Pisano in the places of Collette and Hall).

A 2-CD deluxe rendering of the group's first pop #1 LP, inspired by the album's 50th anniversary last year. Outtakes and rare mixes, including a newly created duet with the Four Tops, have been added to the album's original mono and stereo versions, now remastered for the first time in decades, to create a unique package deserving of the Supremes legendary status. Comes with two 24-pages booklets with extensive liner notes and never-before-seen photos.

From their original incarnation as surf band The Crossfires, all the way to their final single, the Turtles traversed several different musical paths during their career. It is precisely this power through diversity that makes the Turtles’ body of work one of the most rewarding and enjoyable of the 1960’s – they never met a genre they didn’t like.
