Antonio Vivaldi composed several sonatas for cello and continuo. A set of six cello sonatas, written between 1720 and 1730, was published in Paris in 1740. He wrote at least four other cello sonatas, with two manuscripts kept in Naples, another in Wiesentheid, and one known to be lost.

Dear Listener, “Turn the Page” was born out of life … and death. We did not simply sit down and write this album—we lived it. The passion, pain, perseverance, and love behind these songs are as real as the life events we have experienced. Through a season of loss, hardship, and growth, we have encountered challenges in our identities, our marriage, our families, our friendships, our music, and our travels.

Hailing from Italy, Mr. Massimiliano Martinelli and Mrs. Fulvia Mancini (Mr & Mrs Cello) are professional cellists, bringing forth their love and veneration for the cello and classical performance into the modern music industry.

Fulvia Mancini is an Italian cellist, teacher, arranger and cultural manager. A pupil of renowned cellists Marianne Chen, Patrick Demenga and Antonio Meneses, she joined in 2005 the first incarnation of Riccardo Muti’s Luigi Cherubini Orchestra. Between 2005 and 2010, Fulvia obtained two Master’s Degrees from the Haute Écoles de Musique de Suisse and graduated in Law from the University of Bologna and in Arts Management from the Zurich University.

Mr and Mrs Smith are a charming, cheeky and charismatic Duo/ Trio with a mission to entertain and impress.
